I am having some trouble getting a new pc I just finished building to output any display. Here are the specs:
Intel E8500
Intel DG965WH motherboard
2x 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800
DVDRW
BFG 8600GTS 256
Antec NSK4480 Case with 380W Eatherwatts PSU
The problem is that whenever I power it up, everything sounds normal and looks normal inside the case, but nothing comes up on the display. Ive tried it on an older 17" lcd and a larger LCD TV, but neither get any picture (trying to use either VGA or DVI). Im not ruling out the possibility that it doesnt like these monitors for some reason (the non standard res of my tv or the older specs of the monitor), but I cant try another monitor right now.
Ive tried pulling the video card and just going off the VGA built onboard, but still nothing. I also tried pulling the ram and just putting in a single 512mb DDR2 stick, but no change. I also went through the steps to reset the bios, but that didnt effect anything either. Any help you guys could suggest would be much appreciated. Thanks.
