New pc audio setup. Need advice

I have just purchased a new sound card(Audigy 2 ZS) and new speakers(Logitech z680).
Gaming and watching dvd movies on my computer is my main interest. Both items are being shipped.

What i would like to know,what is the best setup. Do I need to purchase anything Can I have both analog and digital connected.? How? Will there be a problem with both items having decoders?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Logitech z680 is 5.1 system, and the subwoofer rox!

you don't need to buy any additonal stuff. all the cables included.

just set your Audigy to 5.1 instead of 7.1 /2.1 .
