New pc audio setup. Need advice

I have just purchased a new sound card(Audigy 2 ZS) and new speakers(Logitech z680).
Gaming and watching dvd movies on my computer is my main interest. Both items are being shipped.

What I would like to know what is the best setup? Do I need to purchase anything? Can I have both analog and digital connected? How? Will there be a problem with both items having decoders?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

I have that setup, but I didn't have any problems... everything was really straight forward...

now the audigy 2 zs and the 9800 AIW, that was another story
