Maybe MrJoe is making a reference to D2's woefully anemic 256 colour scheme, or perhaps its chunky 640-480 resolution. Make no mistake D2 has plenty of mindless clicking fun, but on a 19+ inch monitor it is almost painful to behold. I'm using a 21 incher...

EXACTLY !!! Diablo 2 isn't a bad game, but the graphics are HORRIBLE ! In the day and age of $300+ video cards and high end computers, for Blizzard to put out a game like this and call it Diablo 2 is a rip. Diablo 2 is nothing more than a expansion pack for Diablo 1.

It's not THAT bad on my 19"... I guess if they had better graphics or 800x600, then it would take far too many cds and hard drive space.

It is a really fun game though.

Finally the bow bug is fixed with 1.04 though! But they screwed up the Paladin's BH/Concentration and won't fix it until 1.05! And look how long we waited for 1.04 so we can forget playing Hammerdins for many months. Cmon Blizzard, it must be SIMPLE to fix!

That`s probably why I purchased Baldur`s Gate2 instead of D2, since it`s by far a better game.

how can diablo2 graphics be "not THAT bad" on a 19"? it looks terrible even on my 17".

while i agree with the commment about D2 being just an addon for diablo, it is still great fun.

When I first got it I started laughing because the graphics were crap. But the more I played it the less I noticed it and now they look fine. And it's not just graphics that makes a game. Hell I don't see much anyway if I'm spamming frozen orb.

No more hammerdins with the new patch Blessed Hammer no longer works with Concentration on the paladin...oh well...I just traded my Garb for Blink then Blink for Silks so I'm happy

Don't delete that hammerdin just yet. The patch was bugged, so BH/conc no longer working together is an accident. I think they've restored it on the realms, so hammerdins are back in business Single players have to wait for the next patch, which will probably take forever to come out.
