Tell your kids to stop messing around with your expensive painting supplies.

Ask the man with the asterisk in his name about the painting with the asterisks if you're going to risk asking about a painting of asterisks on a forum like this that is.

Like the others, took me about 5 minutes

Of course it did. LOL

I have a good friend from high school that's been in newspapers and other print media as well as on the local news who paints, draws, etc using all kinds of mediums and his stuff takes at least three days if not longer. Sure he could whip out a character drawing, but he always told me art like that is something a monkey could do. LOL. I'll post some of his stuff latter. Or sooner if I can find it on my puter.

Edit-

He will be at the Salt Lake City Comic Con. Name is Jeff Herndon. He does fantastic Star Wars stuff.

Almost forgot! He does book illustrations. http://jeffherndon.com/illustration/commercial-gallery/

That's just peachy. Our old friend black spot is getting atrophied.

I'd be pissed if kids covered something I painted in crayons like that! :D

It's not a painting. Maybe I'm just old and crochety, but you can't call it a painting unless you do it with paint. You did this on your tablet or whatever, and it's roughly equivalent in quality to the other "artwork" you've posted.

Black blob found a friend. That's kind of heart warming. Though, the black specks throughout the piece and black blob's state of decrepitude suggest that it shot itself so maybe the red blob is just a passerby possessed of morbid curiosity.

The black in the middle represents the disdain for anything I can't have

What do all the bright, colorful shapes and patterns represent?

I'm guessing disdain for all the other things you can't have. AmIrite?

I'm not much for abstractionism of this type but I do have to say that your work has energy.

Naer, find a beret, a sailor shirt, a red herchief and an unfiltered cigarette, and make a short vid of you pointing to the black spot on the painting and saying, "Ze blahck in ze middle reprahzents mah dees-dain for anything I can't have" in a sneering, John Cleese inspired fake French accent.

Will do. Thoughts on this bird I rescued from a crowded shop?

Wish to save more birds in the future. They can't appeciate abstract art, but it's nice to do something for an inferior species
