New OWC 1TB SSD Clone Upgrade

Just received the upgrade kit.

I have a Macbook Pro 11.2 running Yosemite 10.10.5 Existing SSD is 250GB

OWC recommends a fresh OS install and then migrate data.

I would rather clone my existing drive.

Thoughts on how to do this?

SuperDuper! (i'm not yelling or excited, that's its actual name, exclamation point and all)
Carbon Copy Cloner

Did the upgrade kit include an external enclosure for the SSD? If yes, then put the new SSD into the enclosure, format it using Disk Utility (format type is Mac OS Extended, journaled), and then clone the old drive to the new drive.

Verify the clone was successful by rebooting and holding ALT to bring up the boot menu, then select the external drive. If OS X boots, then you've done it.

Shut down, crack open the laptop, swap the SSDs.
