New Order - Get Ready

I, um, acquired it this evening and have been listening to a few tracks. Sounds pretty darn good...tight playing, memorable songs, classic New Order sound. The music isn't groundbreaking, but this is supposed to be big when it comes out officially on 10/16/2001.

New Order is cool. I love Joy Division though, too bad Ian Curtis is dead. Is it the original line-up on this CD? I haven't been keeping up...

As far as I can tell, the original lineup is still intact. Hook and Sumner's signatures are readily apparent.

Peter Hook has that distinctive bass sound that you can instantly recognize. Good stuff.

Unknown Pleasures is one of the all time great albums. New Order lost me a while back, although I fire up LWTUA now and again just for the memories.

The album is pretty good, it was released on mp3 a while ago, so its nothing really new (Depeche Mode did it too). Its good, and I'll be buying it come 10/16.
