New on Netflix : Black Lightning

It is a good series. Watched the first episode and i do have to say, Ms Fowdy has a body in that blue dress that says "Howdy". But besides that, the show has really a very good vibe.
Netflix is doing really good.

Looks like Canada and UK only. US is on network TV CW, which can be streamed day after it shows on the CW app with commercials. CW shows usually get put on Netflix after the season ends in US.

Arrow season 1-2 and Flash season 1 were great.

Watched the first episode, recorded from the CW. It's very, shall we say, inner-city. I'm not sure I'll like that type of show. But I might give it another episode or two.

I got through about half of the first episode. It struck me as trying too hard to be gritty and failing, like it was from a writer in a Starbucks on his MacBook* trying to sound “street”. I don’t know who wrote this, but that’s what it felt like.

But I’ll try to finish the episode and watch a few more.

*I’m a MacBook owner that sometimes visits Starbucks.

Black lightning is really good. I have been watching season 2 now and it is really good.
I like how Marvin Jones III (Krondon) portrays Tobias Whale. A real crook.

In real life Krondon seems a really nice and friendly guy.

Of course, the whole series is fun to see. I find it more entertaining than for example any of the transformers movies.
I even start to like it more than star trek discovery.
Startrek discovery becomes more an more "Bold and the beautiful..." in space.
