New Omega Catalyst Released

I saw at Omegacorner.com that there is a new driver release. This release is based on the leaked Dell drivers.

NO, these are NOT the Catalyst 3.8 based drivers that I released on 10/08, this is an entire new version of the drivers (newer than the Cat 3.8), but they are NOT the Catalyst 3.9.
As usual, go to the ATI download's page to grab these and make sure you read the readme to see what's new in them.

UPDATE:
I have updated the drivers to version 2.4.96a to fix some minor problems that where present in the original release, see the readme for details.

I just downloaded, installed and ran the omega beta. My 3dmark score dropped from 3412 to 3390

a 22 drop in 3dmark is nothing!

^ OMG!!! These drivers suck!!!

Seriously, a 0.65% performance decrease does not even warrant a frown face in my book. Perhaps in some games it's 10% faster.. who knows!

I wouldn't base a new driver's usefulness on a 3dmark score, anyway.

Edit: unless it improved it like 25%, with corresponding improvements in games .
