New "old" IBM clicking model "M" KB...@1993

Very much like this DAS "Pro" KB. Only issue is that sometimes when I re-start the comp, Win XP does not "see" the KB. I then have to dis-connect/re-connect and she's fine... There were no drivers to install w/ the KB, so what's going on?

got my northgate, it isn't without hiccups however i got it to work perfectly now. the key switch is lighter but I am loving the light and more quiet keystroke.

Guys, question. Do it happen to you that with alps/cherry switch the key has more resistance when you hit it off center? Never happened with buckle spring. If that's common then it's kind of a turn off for me.

I haven't noticed any unexpected increase in resistance with any of the Alps or Cherry mechanical keyboards that I've used. Other keyboards... yes... but not Alps/Cherry.
