IMHO, the use of seperate driver installs makes perfect sense. I have been doing it manually forever, now its just a simple, seperate install. Many of the problems users experience can be attributed to either the video card driver, or the Rage Theater drivers(WDM), usually however, not both. Many of the recent betas havent even included WDM drivers, leaving inexperienced users with no multimedia functions and no sense as to how to troubleshoot them. Now it should be clear, video drivers handle the graphics functions, WDM drivers handle the multimedia functions, making it easier to troubleshoot problems.
