given your budget, I doubt you can afford any of the luxury branded ones.

That's the problem. To get a fast car that can handle winter, it's luxury cars only. Fast cars that can't handle winter... sure, RWD that's been nicely cared for, they aren't nearly as expensive, but that doesn't work. Cars that can handle winter tend to be slower and more sedate... bbboooorrriiinnngggg.

that is why I am pointing at Fusion SEL AWD leather...
it's plenty nice. and fast enough.

I don't need luxury, I need something that does winter, and very strongly want something fast. In combination, that usually spells luxury.

That the mirrors can defrost themselves, it has a power sunshade, the seat and wheel can heat or cool... those are nice, but totally not necessary to me.

Factory navigation would be a wonderful feature... but given the presence of a Thunderbolt and a Garmin, it's severely redundant. I'd rather have an always-on sort of system, but whatever. Beggars...
