I don't think I can justify a $750 power rack when I can build one of about half the quality for less than a third of the price.

The nicer one: slightly smaller exterior dimensions, looks like powdercoated black steel, or at least, black steel. 2" hole space outside of the bench zone, 1" hole spacing in the bench zone. Pin and pipe catches, very nice oversized J-hooks, needs to be bolted to the floor, pins for resistance bands, and two different sized pull-up pipes at the top.

The homebuilt one: wood, either 4x4, which would be a little larger external dimensions, or 6x6, which would be much larger. J-hooks made of pipes and pipe fittings, which I'm a little uneasy about. Holes would be 2" spacing at best, if not 3", to avoid blowing the wood apart between the holes. Catches would be single pipes, no pins.

This person just tripped over his own feet, and then dropped the stuff they wanted to buy a minute later.

DANGER!

Oh yeah. BANE! DELETE WHORACLE!

I keep forgetting to remove Whoracle, by In Flames, from my Sansa. It's the laggiest song ever.

I'm hungry. Should've brought a lunch with me. I figured before leaving my house a cup of rice and about 10 ounces of steak would be enough to last five hours. It's not.

Woah. I love ebay and abebooks. Spend $100 on books that the school book store wanted $250 for. USED! wtf

Actually, reading the edit, that's almost certainly it, and seems the mod didn't pick up on the thread's parody status.

I suspect you're in the clear.

You don't think he saw it was a parody? I thought it was pretty clear it was and he caught it.

The way he phrased it... "this didn't need another thread", it just doesn't seem like how they normally treat parodies. I can't say I've seen that particular member in OT much, and I know he's a very new mod.

Anyway, even if he saw it was a parody, very often it seems that parodies just get a lock, maybe a mod edit. If there's a lot of parodies, then they start pulling out the warnings and infractions. If the parodies persist at that point, it becomes bannable.

Sunny Mondays suck. It's too nice to be in an office right now.

Office workers want to be outside on days like this.

And outside workers want to be sitting in an air conditioned office on days like this. Oi.

So I realized I had a lapse of spatial reasoning. I was struggling to figure out how to get the bar out of the rack to use it in front of the rack. It took a whole day before I realized I can rotate it to vertical just to one side of the rack, and clear it that way. After all, the bar is just under 87" long.

Meh, I've only got a zero point infraction so I wasn't too worried and the subject material was just too damn good to pass up.
