I haven't decided if I'll go hide in a lab to make the phone call, or an abandoned office.

Lab: the vents are very loud, but there is computer access.
Office: it's very quiet, but there's no computer.

Obviously I won't stay right here, it's loud from the vents and I could have people bothering me.

LOL. Honestly, while I really like their company, I am using this as more practice. Even if I get an offer, it will have to be an otherwordly offer to make me leave my current place of employment. I can do better in terms of salary than I am now, but the benefits are so far out of this world that a company would have to pay me on the order of 30% to 40% more to make up for the benefits AND give me a big enough raise to make me leave.

I made the jump for 30% raise on pay, worse benefits and kicked out of the door in 1.5 years :awe:

Yeah, Bane's fucked.

The calculus professor was all "yeah, I don't have much information", so he's winging the whole conversation, and just going on and on about how I got a shitty grade on the online homework. The fact that I realized I couldn't get above a 50, and thus stopped doing it, was irrelevant.

I barely even got to talk to him, it was more of him lecturing me about the homework and how lenient he is to everyone through the whole semester, and then telling me he had to leave and hanging up.

So what the fuck.

That conversation was totally useless.

Now I get to email the EE chair, he's gonna scream something about no exceptions, say I'm getting booted from the classes.

Then I get to email both my calculus professor again, because the call was useless, and I get to email the engineering dean in hopes he'll do something.

You're fighting a losing battle, my friend.
