I've been looking for a term for the past half an hour... I remember something about eddy (as in eddies), boundary, and flow. I also believe it was in a sentence regarding "governed by <term here>. It was, I believe, related to electrical or magnetic fields, but it could have been something with more conventional fluid dynamics.
 
Other than MRI and superconductors, I can't think of any EM related topic I've looked up in the past week. Everything else has been related to internal combustion motors.
