Just based on the above two issues my 6 year old MSI player is vastly superior to a brand new Zune. Add to the that unpleasantly simple controls and UI, and you have a huge suck ass product on your hands.
The only good things I have to say are the excellent audio quality and relatively fast transfer speeds AFTER I got all the bullshit software installed and updated. But now I know to be more selective and discriminating in my purchases. Oh, and the digital FM tuner is actually pretty nice. It finds stations in a split second, but I wish I could save favorites.

My Sansa Clip+ works nicely, but I believe my requirements are rather different.
