I just got some money on my Newegg card so I need to start buying stuff for my mom's computer.

I have already dedicated $60 for these per her request. Assuming I can take the stock fans that come with her Corsair Graphite 230t case.

So basically I have $300 to work with lol I just need to get somethings and then I will get the rest of the stuff in March.

Needs to be able to play SimsCity, do school work, and surf the internet.

NEWEGG ONLY. Wanting to go Intel. Using a Corsair 230t case. I have nothing else but the case bought. Will be buying on Friday.
 
You gotta give more info than that if you want useful advice. Did you already buy the case, fans, mobo, GPU, RAM? If so, how much did you spend on them?
 
I only have her case (which I have to wait on painting now because of newegg). I kinda have the board too. I am going to buy a cheap $70 and use it in my build until I get my replacement board (when I get money for it) then I will stick the $70 board in hers when I get my AsRock board back in 6+ weeks.

I am planning to just get those fans when I get the board ordered tonight.

So basically what I need is RAM, graphics card, optical drive, OS, and CPU.

Newegg isn't posting the money back onto my card on the 3rd which the 31st was the last day for special financing...awesome...

I got the fans and board for $140 now my card is maxed out until the put $270...

I don't appear to have any money on my card for some reason. I am done with Newegg. I will go thru amazon in June when I pay my card off. These guys have annoyed me so much.

Newegg can go jump off a bridge, this is the worst customer service EVER!
