So basically you are saying that most of it is based on "gossip", and there is no published information that we can all read on these issues that has supposedly been tested, anywhere on the Internet?

sure they gona say we make unfinished and unpolished products....., even corsair can say the "real" truth about SF 120GB recall (OCZ using their own design is a pure bullshit)... if they had SF would got tits up....

You know, before you make yourself look like a fool with such statements, you could at least do some homework. :D

http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?90191-FW-2.09-is-live

wendy collective the early results of "new" fw is sandforce acting to slowdown v3/v3max, why?

re: reference pcb - this industry term specifically refers to the "chip designer" ie: gpu or ssd controller or other complex function LSI smt "proven" functionality printed circuit board land(s) layout/layering/materials spec (substrate/cu wt/hole plating) - this is always min spec/min cost/average achievable "performance" level... resulting device functional in qc statistical samples... realworld

wc's corsair images show sf ref pcb (only sf can propose ref ssd pcb) of typical moderate high data speed average/above average build quality BEFORE Corsair recalled to retrofit (2) smt resistors that were deleted prior to release-to-manufacturing as un-necessay for non-critical user applications...

wc's ocz image (regretably only top side) is an optimized moderate high data speed pcb in a manner similar to high performance ram memory pcbs & wifi radio mini cards, ie: cross talk minimized, slightly more exacting land spacing/length and additional substrate layer(ing) / however more interesting is "upper left corner" off-pcb-power-connector-points & "bottom right edge " P1-to-P8" test points to verify nand addressing. the sf controller pcb lands layer(ing) was/were moved "outward" to pcb surface to facilitate P1 etal possibly inducing harmonics..

my breakfast intervened, continuing, ocz "customized" ssd pcb is designed for several possible installations/including fully bare device mounting (likely rack mount/embedded system) - I have concern re: moving sf controller lsi to near-surface location & capacitance issues/induced harmonics - no visible ferrite to bleed-off, oh well...

ssd's being rather new to market & specialized should not be presently designed as "Universal Device/mounting" until after additional user experience accumulated - but ocz is rushing to dominate the enterprise ssd market... and embedded systems, my money remains on "other" companies succeeding...

yes wc gossip, try to bear in mind, painfully learned by most, that rigorous application of rational thought will not prevent shark attacks, sometimes intuition can save your life... if it walks like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, etc, etc...

returning to OCZ FW 2.09 Update: Why Are V3 & V3Max Slowing Down & (Apparently) Still Experiencing Stuttering/BSOD's?

well, out the door and into the chase...

***Confirmed By OCZ*** V3 & V3Max mandated slow down by FW2.09 to minimize stuttering/bsod's -- Custom PCB By OCZ -- Optomized/Tuned/Reworked Firmware By SANDFORCE -- "Voodoo" Device Installations Procedures AND THE OCZ V3 / V3Max SSD's ARE THOTTLED TO REDUCE INSTABILITY!?!

Instant Replay of SF1200 --- Sandforce Controller Chips Series 1000 & 2000 continue to have UNRESOLVED MARCHITECTURE DESIGN ISSUES!!!

SANDFORCE HAS LOST ALL CREDIBILITY AS SSD CONTROLLER DESIGNER

AND OCZ HAS ROBBED BUYERS/USERS OF SSD's **AGAIN** - More Fools ALL Of US!

When Will Users Learn To Stop Throwing Monies At Hollow Promises?

wendy collective, respectfully, time to wake up

let me guess.. you're an "engineer"? lol

and quite talking in riddles for christ's sake. It's like the stereotypical big butch gay dude who always act's like the biggest hetero dog around just so's all his other big butch non-gay buddies don't find out what he's really about when the bedroom door closes at night. No need to pretend so much as I and most others surely don't really care one way or the other.

You are seriously trying waaayyyy too hard to impress here and it's actually detracting from the minor points that you actually may have(to be completely frank?.. I'm no big "Sandforce the company" fanboy myself but my friggin' system sure is fast and stable for the last year and a half when using their controllers). It's very condescending and you should dumb some of this stuff down a bit by using a "less is more" mentality.

IOW?.. responses are gettin' a little too "nutsy" here to be honest.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting to see those "Sandforce SSD proof" screens of all those SSD's you mentioned that you own.

You actually summed it up quite nicely earlier.. "if it walks like a duck..and quacks like a duck"? then it MUST be... dinub1 !!!

Even got yourself kicked off the other forums for acting the way you are here, eh? LOL

Pretty tough to hide that kinda' "conspiracy weird" mentality. Couldn't put my finger on it at first but then you just kept on and on. Keep on talkin' there buddy and you'll have a whole two person following around here too.

Distracting & Misdirecting & Vulgar.

The National Inquirer will pay you to write feature stories on UFO abductions.

Your OCZ Healthcare probably cover Anger Management Rehab, just a thought...

I find your misinformation and assumptions based on your personal misguided belief that you even know what the hell you're talking about more "Distracting & Misdirecting & Vulgar" than any jokes or slaps on the back that I would ever serve up around here.

Still waiting on those screenshots. Really want to serve one up here? Posts those drives up in your disk mgmt. That'll shove more than my foot in my mouth, eh? lol

Or even better?.. let's talk about the internal algorithms of the drives that you claim to own. If you do have that many drives?.. surely you know how they work and their limitations by now(hell.. you're smart enough to read some Anandtech articles and try and make something up, right?)?

But NOOOO.. you keep on running away at the mouth without one bit of proof as to the validity of anything you have posted so far. No links?.. no screens?.. no clout.

Your words mean nothing if you can't back them up with facts.

funny you should say that.. we thought the same thing of you. lol

Still waiting for those awesome "multi-Sandforce" SSD system screens for proof that you even have a clue as to what you're talking about here.
