Looks like its an official one. You can now get it on windows update.

My ping is very bad in halo. If I click on a server a few times it fluctuates from 34, to 65, to 100+. If I enter a server it's generally around 64-100, and unstable. Anarchy online experiences slow downs. I started noticing these problems around the time vista updated my drivers. What can I do? I've noticed manipulating the driver settings affects my ping, but I cant get the stability back to what it was. I'm not sure if it's a connection issue or graphical.

I rolled back the driver and defragged. it helped a lot. nvidia sucks.
