Just updated from an old nvidia driver. Has anyone seen the new brightness/contrast/gamma tool in Nvidia's Control Panel ("Display Optimization Wizard")? I didn't remember seeing it before.

I have a GF4 ti4600, a Sony G400 19" and an old Hitachi 19". I ran through the setup and followed things to the best of my ability, but when I got to the gamma section, my colors were shown as extremely bright when compared to what it initially displayed. When done with the wizard, WinXP colors are completely different - basically, my whites are still white, and blacks are nice blacks, but all other colors look WAY too dark.

The only thing I think may have been off...at the beginning of the wizard, it says to put your monitor's color temperature to 6500K. My Sony doesn't have this, and it has always been set to 9300K. The only other option is 5000K.

Is this tool defective, or is that because of the temperature problem, I can never get accurate colors with this tool?
