New Nvidia drivers slow down games

I have a Ti4200, and was using the 30.82 drivers in the past since the newer ones never really worked. Now that I've upgraded to the latest for KOTOR, I get huge slowdowns in all my games. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
Help?

what are your other system specs ?
Are you sure its just the Video drivers?
is it specificly with directx 9.0 games?

512mb PC2100
80GB WD SE drive

Yes, Its just the drivers. It happens with all games.

You sure AA or AF didn't get enabled by mistake? Check your display settings.

are you running Win XP?

I would uninstall the drivers and run Driver Cleaner in safe mode,Driver Cleaner link .

I would also make sure you`ve latest DX 9.0B installed as well.

Btw what motherboard do you`ve?

you might also check out eVGA.com they have released a more updated driver that fixed a few probs i was having, ( mainly in BF1942 tho)

When your in game go to the games display settings. Try turning off some of the options like shadows, the effects one and whatever else. The game slows down even on
better video cards than yours.
