Cant be any worse then the current version thats for damn sure. Fortunately changing drivers is really easy so I'll give it a whirl when i get home.

Same here, definitely not happy with the 162.18's i'm using now, so i'll give these a shot later tonight as well.

WTF is it with nVidia and Beta drivers?

Any promises of a non-beta by the time Crysis arrives?

After crysis you get a new beta hotfix, and the next month a new full release driverset including the hotfix among other things. Again it will be a beta lol.

I kid, but seriously...they should have WHQL more often, ATI does.

Close my friend. Close.

GOD ;)

As for the drivers, it hasnt fixed the problems I'm having. Havent noticed anything unusual I can attribute to the drivers, but it hasnt fixed my existing problems either.

To drag the thread in the right direction - I'm on the previous betas and I never had any problems to begin with. 7800gtx.

I've never had any real problems with Vista and 162.22, 163.44, or 163.67 except for flat panel scaling. I'm not sure if it's broken or if it's just unselectable in certain sets, but I'm on 163.67 right now with scaling working, so I can play StarCraft happily on my widescreen.

I've been using the 162 version drivers with a 7900gtx.
No problems yet and I looked over the release notes in these.
Mostly 8x00 series fixes.
Nothing in the 7900 series that applies to me.

It's the nV way.

Never release anything official.

If there are problems, z0mg, it's the beta drivers, can't blame us

Go back to using the last official set from like...half a year ago :p

ATi drivers > nV drivers for a long time now; people are finally just seeing it now.

Then again, they're having their fair share of issues with newer games not doing so well w/o hotfixes, etc, so really, we can't win i don't think :p

I'm not sure about this - I used to be avid ATI supporter but this 2900XT had more problems since its inception than any other card from NV (sans the ill-famed FX :D)...

Tried these new ones with 8800GTS640 at work, worked fine; haven't had a chance to try with 8800GTX@Ultra at home but I'd be surprised if they would raise any problem...

I'm using the current forceware, and my games will crash randomly. Especially BF2 and Supreme Commander. I don't believe it's memory anymore, I have 4 gigs and windows vista x64. My card is a 7600 GS, I'll try these drivers tonight.

Damn I need a new GPU.

No problems running these... Anyone on here get into the Crysis MP beta? If so, how do these drivers perform?

Sorry keys.

Anyhow - I think I'll be updating to these tonight - has anyone had any weird texture loading problems in Bioshock with the 163.44s?
