It's a government regulation. In japan, if your car *officially* puts out more than 280 hp, it gets taxed up the ass. So everyone just rates the engines at 280 hp, regardless of what the output really is.

Ok, just got my buddy to translate the article. Not really about the NSX, but where Honda wants to head towards. Weird information though, stuff I haven't read about.

V10!!! Can you believe that? Here we are, hoping for a V8, and they think they going to drop a V10 into that sucker. Heck, is this the first V10 coming out of Japan?

$100,000??? WTF? I guess it's right in the middle of the two other price ranges I heard about, a little more than the current one.

Aside from that, none of the other information was all that interesting. Two page article, and only these two tidbits worth writing about.

edit: forgot to mention that Honda wants to go for torque!!! So it looks like a Camaro, and now they trying to make it a muscle car huh?
