Didnt see too much that was scorching...let alone hot

though i did see a spindle of 25 4x DVD+R's for $24.97

I picked up the 6-in-1 USB card reader... tested on 4 of the 6 slots and it works great... Comes with USB cable too.... which is the same as the one that comes with most digi-cams...

On the last page, they have 1GB DDR 400 Dual Channel Memory Kit for $99.99 after $20 rebate. Looks like a misprint since the 512MB kit above is the same price.

ATX Mid-Tower w/ 400W PSU, front USB ports and headphone/mic for $29.99.

I noticed that as well, I think they forgot a 1 in front of the price. Knowing how anal Microcenter is, I'm sure they won't honor it. Could be a PM oppertunity though, if you have the flyer.

It appears to have been updated on the website, now to stop by there on the way home and see if the printed ones didn't have the 1. I wonder who else carries Centon...

Just received the printed sales ad and it is $99.99. At the bottom of the last page, in small writing is a disclaimer that they are not responsible for pictorial, pricing or typographical errors.

My OfficeMAx always calls before PM so I'm out of luck, but CC might work...

Circuit City carries Centon, but, through the website at least, they don't have the 1GB dual channel PC3200. OMax only carries KByte and Kingston, and nothing above PC2700, that one being only 512MB. CompUSA does, and they have the same exact one. Now to hope my local one doesn't call to check anything, that and get a computer that can make use of it.

if you view the link for the product, it says MAX MEMORY 512MB...

so i think its two sticks of 256MB to make 512...

same with the 1 gig...2 sticks of 512 to make 1 gig...

That's the way it has always been on the dual channel memory kits. They just list the total size and assume you are aware that you are actually buying two matched sticks of memory for dual-channel DDR chipsets. Pretty soon just about ALL the motherboards will probably be able to run dual channel so you'll be seeing a lot more of these kits.
