I'm going to install a new mobo in my computer.
Do I have to reinstall my windows or can I just delete everything in the device manager, shutdown, change motherboard and hope that everything is detected?

I have done this with various results. What is your current mainboard and what are you changing it to?

I would try and install the new chipset drivers for the new mobo first, then install.

I'm going from a ASUS cuv4x with celeron to a ABIT kt7a with amd cpu.
Both are nvidia chipsets.
I'm going to try it this evening, but first make a rescue cd just in case.
Will let you know what happens
