New notebook, won't let me go to a higher resolution

Just got the Toshiba at CC on BF...it has an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M series graphics card and a 15" TrueBrite LCD...the highest resolution it will let me use is 1024x768...I'm clueless when it comes to video stuff, does anyone know if there is some way I can get the res higher? Thanks

That seems like as high as it will go for a notebook, remember LCDs have a native resolution that they can not go above and that they look the best at, it is not like a CRT where you can keep bumping it up to a point. My 19" LCD only goes to 1280x1024 max...the price we pay for eye comfort!
