Have you ever seen a Buffalo in person? That is actually a tuft of hair that hangs off their belly, male or female.

I confess, I have never seen an actual buffalo, but the feature on the coin doesn't look like anything I would describe as a "tuft."

The westward expansion series has been in production for 1-2 years now, and aside from my sardonic manifest destiny jokes, I've never actually heard anybody complain about them.
