New network.. wireless fine.. router to 3rd comp slooow??

I just got one of the microsoft wireless network bundles with router and laptop card. The connection with the wireless is great but the connection between 2 wired comps is sloooow. For example.. I send an MP3 from wireless laptop to main computer approx 4 megs it takes approx 10 seconds. The same file sent from main comp to wired comp in other room takes approx 3 minutes. Both main and other room comps worked great before this wireless setup using a crossover cable between them. Any ideas on what I could look for that would cause the wired comps to be slow with each other. The DSL service on all comps is working fine. Just file transfer between wired comps is terrible. Ok.. This is Auknaud.. Had problems with original account so now I am rajjneef. Anyway... Another part of this. I have now determined that I am only slow one direction on each comp.

From main comp I try to send a file to wired comp 2 = slow
From main comp I request a file from wired comp 2 = fast

From wired comp 2 I request a file from main comp = slow
From wired comp 2 I send a file to main comp = fast.

Once again.. everything on the wireless laptop is fine.

Please anyone with any ideas chime in! I dont know much at all about networking. Thanks!

What about removing and reinstalling the networking stuff and the NIC on the slow computer?
