And they are having a house warming party tonight and there friends are parked all along the street in front of my house :disgust: Should I call the cops or get them towed away or something? It pisses me off and the music is getting louder and louder. They have just about blocked my driveway. I never said they could park there even when he came over to give me his business card, cause he is a very important loan officer.

The street is public and you have no claim to it, even in front of your house. It is a damn party. It will be over in a few hours. You need to chill out. You sound like an asshole neighbor.

Blocking your driveway is going past the line in my book.

Don't be an A-hole, as your neighbors might be nice people, who you could later get along with. If you call the cops, you are guaranteed to have an enemy.
Besides, it's a special occasion, most likely, so chill out. ;)

Just about blocking, does not say blocking.

that isn't your neighbor's fault that's the stupid friend's fault if they don't know, not to park in front of someone's drive

If you can still get out of your lot, then let it go. If you can't, walk over and tell him. Hell, they might even invite you in.

Ah, I read that wrong. Just about blocking the driveway still sucks. Tough call.

Nah Im ok just pissed that a freekin truck is halfway blocking my driveway I can get out if I drive over the curb.

Im not an A-hole neighbor.. I was invited but I have small kids and no baby sitter nor do I like the fellow. Its just kind of rude he could have atleast said hey we are turning the road into a oneway and parking 15 cars right around your house or something. Its a bad way to start off IMHO.

If your driveway is blocked, why not go over there and ask if the owner of the car can move it? It might be easier and, you know, the neighborly thing to do.

Unless the block your driveway STFU, Sounds like sour grapes since you didn't get an invite, and it sounds like they had an inside tract that you shouldn't be invited.

Here's a little advice to you: Let it go. It's a little parking problem that lasts for a few hours and can be remedied by asking someone to move their car. I really hope you're not going to label him an A-hole neighbor for having guests over. It sounds more like you could be an A-hole neighbor more than the new guy based on what you've told us so far.

Where the hell else are they going to park (except for the douche half way blocking your drive. That ain't cool, but it's not your neighbor's fault)?
