Does anyone have any experience with this monitor?

NEC Display Solutions LCD2170NX 21.3" 8ms LCD Monitor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824002118

I haven't been able to find any reviews. Most monitors this size have response times above 16ms. I am trying to separate fact from fiction here: does this thing really have a grey-to-grey response time of 8ms? I find this hard to believe and I am curious if anyone has used this monitor or seen any reviews.

Also has anyone heard anything about the next generation 20" 4:3 LCD from Dell? The 2001FP is a few years old now and I was hoping to see them release a new model this year

Thanks.

Looks pretty solid, although something about the stand makes it look oversized imo. Also the price hurts a its appeal a little.

Hurts it a lot..

Dell is doing a wonderful job of keeping prices low..

24" 12-16ms COMPONENT inputs, rotation and the works for under $1000 is stellar!

The 2005/2405 are tough monitors to beat!

Why not just buy a 27" Viewsonic LCD HDTV and save yourself a few hundred bucks?

Bigger size LCDs tend to have lower response times. Nothing wrong with an 8ms. gray-to-gray on a 21.3". I've seen it even on tons of 19" or even 17" monitors.

Firstly, the N2700w is 25ms and only 1280x720 res, and secondly it's more expensive than the dell 2405 and lacks almost all of it's features.

Its gray to gray. I have an 8ms 19" gray to gray monitor (VP191b). To know that there are 8ms ISO panels already, then 8ms G-G is not too uber or anything.

Samsumg has the 214T (21"), which does 8 ms gray to gray also.

At least the manufacturers are being somewhat honest, which means that the normal response time is more like 16, but for gray to gray, sure, it could be as low as 8ms.
