New napster not accepting download directory

In the original version of napster I had a certain directory chosen for sharing and downloading into.

Now for some reason since I've downloaded the new version, it doesn't hold the setting I give it for download directory.

It has "c:\programfiles\napster\myfiles" chosen, but oddly, it downloads into the root directory.

I go into preferences for downloading and choose "C:\mp3" for the directory, but the second I close that window, it goes back to what it chose.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Seems to be a bug. all have same prob.

Mine seems to DL fine.... The only proble I get with the new Napster is that when I use the search it freezes my computer for a few seconds.... Very anoying..

I've got the same problem on both of my installs. I even tried setting the save path in the registry, but it just deletes the entry afterwards. As far as freezing on search, it's been doing that to me since beta 6.

I get that freezing thing too, which pauses play on current mp3 I'm playing (which it didn't used to do for me)...

so much for "progress"
