First track = REO Speedwagon. Second track = Police :^D

They're ok. My daughter likes them, so I've heard it before. I'm not a fan, but I like the fact it's real music, which seems to be rare on radio.

I really have trouble listening to Autotuned songs. It overshadows what might be an otherwise listenable track.

I just read yesterday that the YYYs are putting out a new album in a few months. Their stripped down stuff shows Karen O has an amazing voice underneath the screaming loud stuff they usually do. (Ignore the crappy homemade videos layered on top)

It might be autotuned but he did perform this song live on The Voice and it sounded just as great.
On that link that woman has a horrible voice.

This is different from Justin Bieber how?

I'm guessing this guy is a 'solo' vocalist type act? I.e. the piano in the first song and the band in the second are low-paid session musicians that get to make a meager living by using their talent/abilities to provide the background to some dudes autotuned voice?

I mean, even without the autotune, I find nothing special in 99% of these people. Headline: lots of people can sing pretty good. The ones that get record deals and are popular...that stuff isn't due to them being the best.

For one, the best can usually write/understand music and play one or more instruments.
