New MS server 08 foundation

No I believe a second version of WHS is still in the works, it's based on Win7/Server08

Edit: The positioning of this product is for SMB locations that want to have server OS capabilities but don't want to have to spend a ton to do it, I believe the OS only comes bundled with hardware.

At this time, no version of Server 2008 has the backup features of WHS. We were all disappointed when Microsoft's SBS 2008 turned out to NOT have the WHS-like backup features that we'd hoped for.

That's because they sell it as a separate product. Data Protection Manager 2008 is their Corporate Disk Backup product. It's not as easy to configure and use as WHS, but accomplishes most of the same things that the WHS back up does. It's available on Technet if you wish to play around with it.
