New! Motorola Spash!

My Motorola V325xi took a swim in a bowl of water while plugged into its charger. At first the screen fixated on the HelloMoto startup image for awhile and then showed an M logo with a blue dot background for awhile. Now all is dark and the phone emits a high pitched whine while plugged in. Any hope or is it white Nike time?

Update:
It is slowly coming back to life. The outside LCD is still dead but the phone can make/receive calls. Speaker phone keeps turning itself on.

My Motorola 276 tooks a swim about two months ago. Once I dried it off it would turn on but the battery was shot so it always had to be plugged in. I never got it to make a phone call after that but at least I got my contacts off of it.

Sounds like if you leave it off for a day or so and it should be fine.
