New motherboards/chipsets on the verge of being released??

I badly need a mobo for my Athlon XP system and I was looking at the Gigabyte GA-7VRXP. However, I have read many, many complaints about recently purchased boards having problems and now I am hesitant about getting one. What new motherboards or chipsets are coming out soon? When will nForce2 motherboards be on the market to buy? Also, anyone know about Via's KT400 and when it's coming out? Thanks.

nForce2 will be "launched" in >2 weeks (july 15) and ina recent Asus Press release announcing their AGP 8X and Serial ATA boards (one of which is the nForce2 based A7N8X), they said that boards would be able to be bought in Late July-August. For KT400, Early August for Launch and p-rolly late august early sept avialability. nForce 2 will have some nice integrated features I would consider waiting for it if u can use the onboard goodies, but realize that performance on KT400 and nForce2 will not likely be significantly better than current generation chispet.

Yeah I really don't want to wait anymore. I mean I want RAID, USB 2.0, NIC and stability. No need for a board that can overclock as I am not doing that. The Gigabyte seemed good except all these complaints about recent boards not working properly. Looked at Epox but I need the USB 2.0 for my front USB 2.0 ports. The Asus and the MSI don't have NIC. I guess this isn't a necessary, however RAID and USB 2.0 are. The Soyo won't even run certain games. I mean, I guess you can always find something wrong with everything. But since a "perfect" board for my needs exists (GA-7VRXP) I don't want to go for anything lower. But it sounds like they are having quality control issues. I don't want to deal with returns over the internet. That's why I want another alternative...I guess I'm being too picky?
