Hi,
I am trying to build a new system. First should I wait for motherboards based VIA's KT133A chipset supporting 266Mhz front bus. Any idea when they will be available. I am planning to get 1.2ghz processsor. What are the over clocking possibilites with this setup?. If it is going to take too long for these boards to come in to market, I am biased towards Abit KT7 or KT7-Raid.

thanks for the advise. :) Have a nice day :)

1. I don't think you'll go wrong with the Abit KT7. I'm very pleased with my rig (see link below). The MSI KT7 Pro 2A is another good board, if you haven't decided yet. But as Anand pointed out recently, a 266 MHz mobo is a killer even with ordinary PC133... Dunno about shipping dates...

2. If possible you should try to get an unlocked 1.2 giger. A few recent posts in the OC/CPU forum mention that AMD might have started shipping unlocked CPU:S to ensure 266 MHz FSB compliance. This is not critical as long as you're not reluctant to do some bridge-connecting yourself, but since a warranty is a good thing to have...
