Shopping time! Okay, I just recently bought a P4 2.4B and now that I think about it, I should have bought a motherboard first i865/75 and then bought an 800mhz chip, but since I can't do anything about it now, oh well. But I have an old P4B533-V board that still loves me very much. I also have PC2700 Hyper-X ram that doesn't seem to be doing the job. My technical max FSB I can overclock to is 167mhz (3.006ghz) and I can hit it with loose RAM timings 2-3-3-6. Though my RAM is rated at 2-2-2-5 at DDR333. Anyway, I read recently that to attain higher clock speeds you need better RAM because that is usually the bottleneck at 333 and lower. Anyway, just wondering if I should get another motherboard with better OC capabilities or some better ram, 3200 or 3500 maybe. Thanks in advance.
