New Motherboard Needed

I am having trouble deciding whether to get another Socket 1155 motherboard for my i5-2400 or replace both mobo and cpu. I cannot afford a Socket 1150 or 1151 i5. If Intel an i3. If AMD Athlon A4 860k, or FX-4300 and a proper cpu cooler. I am also hoping my 8 gb 1333 ram will be good enough.

All advice is deeply appreciated.

My ASUS P8B75-M is having cpu temp errors, usb ports act up. Even with new Antec Earthwatts 450 psu. My older ASROCK H61 is more stable but still has random usb problems. So I'm using it until I get a new mobo or mobo and cpu.
