New Motherboard install

My asus 570 mobo died after only 1 week. :disgust:

I installed a new P5B and i would like to know if I need to reinstall windows or anything else on my HD for peak performance. It seems to run OK but I want to make sure there are no conflicts. I know to remove all the old drivers from the old mobo, but what else if any, do I need to do software wise. Thanks

I would because it's a toally different chipset and driverset. I'd clean install.

I know the feeling. I'm gonna go through all that this week when my C2D system arrives. Then it's the fun of trying to get a stable overclock.
