new motherboard hangs XP, please help

I just changed out my mother board and memory from an MSI kt266a braod to the 8k3a+. Now when trying to load WinXP pro it hangs at the driver loading point. I have tried removing all hardware that is not needed right now, and it still hangs. Is thre some way to reinstall xp without losing all my stuff? Or force it to re-install all hardware?

Thanks

Your problem is that winXP remembers all the components of the old motherboard and now sees that they are not there. If you are lucky, winXP will load and start to install all the new drivers. If not you wil have to reinstall XP.
