I have an Asus P3bf motherboard. The P3bf and Photoshop do not work well togeather. I think it is time for an upgrade. I would like to try an Anthlon CPU. I also use DV Raptor for DV editing. Any suggestion for a motherboard that would be work well with the Raptor and Photoshop. Thanks.

Ty~ The I don't know about Raptor, but I have run Photoshop on several systems (P3's and Athlons) and have never found it to be 'motherboard sensitive'. PS (and I suspect DV Raptor) uses all the memory you throw at it, so I would only consider mobos with at least 3 DIMM slots. Assuming you are not considering a duallie board, I would suggest one of the KT266A mobos and an AthlonXP (because PS takes advantage of SSE). Beyond that IMHO, selecting the best mobo for your needs just boils down to determining which features (built-in options) are important to you and which are not.
