I know for sure that I for one would really, really like to see that new MK game on the PC, I've recently bought MadCatz's FightPad (the one originally made for Street Fighter VI) and I'd certainly be ready to throw the spear and freeze my foes one more time on the PC, that would be great, I haven't played a MK game since a very long time, and the last one I owned was on the Nintendo 64 if I recall correctly, I played some on the original XBOX but after that I lost contact with the franchise entirely.

From the looks of the new MK game so far it really seems that they're going back to the roots with 2D-style fighting on 3D backgrounds, the videos I've seen so far are very good, I've always liked Mortal Kombat generally speaking, I consider the franchise to be my second favorite fighting game franchise even if I barely played it in recent years, my memories of the superb MK sessions I've had at the Arcades and at home with MK1, MK2 and MK3 are still vivid.

Are they still making fighting games? I lost all interest when they started making these RPG crap.

That would be cool. Last MK I played was MKII and this looks to be the same style.
