New Monitor

I'm sitting here drooling over this Acer.

Anyone here think it's worth it.
I would go dell but I just don't like that Style.
This is good with 6ms response time.

I know it's TigerDirect but it's $50 cheaper than Newegg

As the owner of 14",15",20" and a 16:10 24" 2405FPW, let me tell you this:

No matter what your budget or your perceived needs are, you really, really, REALLY want to get your hands on my monitor. 6 ms or 16 ms makes absolutely no difference.

I've been disappointed by cpu upgrades, gpu upgrades, ram upgrades, hd upgrades, speaker upgrades, webcam upgrades, case upgrades, mobo upgrades, mice upgrades, keyboard upgrades, sound card upgrades. You name it, I've been disappointed by it. But 6 months after I ditched my (pretty damn awesome) 2001FP 20" monitor and gotten the 2405fpw, I still think this is the smartest thing I've ever done with 800 bucks.

Now go and get yourself a 17" anyways

I don't know man I'm on a strict budget and I'm only willing to spend about $250 hopefully less. I bought a CMV 17" LCD and it's pretty amazing but My mom's died so I gave it to her. Now my dad wants me to buy a new one (with his money) for around what I got mine for( $200) I want to save him the least amount of money I can and get good quality too. I just don't believe I like that 17" dell and specially not for $250.

i have an Acer AL1715 12 ms DVI 500:1

and that looks amazing. I love 2405fpw too but thats out of budget
