I just bought a Factory Reconditioned IBM P275 Monitor (CRT 21") and it's working great except the refresh rate won't change no matter what I do
It says 85 hz (Which the monitor supports, my res is 1280x1024) under display->advanced->Monitor but under Display->Advanced->Displays (ATi Driver panel) It says 60hz, this is the only place software wise that says its still at 60 hz. I tried using Powerstrip and Multires to set it to 85, both reported it was @ 85hz but the Monitor's OSD always says its @ 60hz no matter what res I set it @ or the refresh rate I tell it to go to.
I downloaded the 'latest'/only drivers from IBM and have the latest ATi drivers as well.
Video card is a Radeon 9800 Pro
