Hi guys. Just a quick one for yas....

Just bought a new 22inch monitor. Now its telling me that its native resolution is something like 1280 x 1050. Anyways, the comptuers relatively new (it has integrated graphics on an AMD board) and that resolution is not in the list.

I installed the CD that came with it and it gave me some more resolution options but not the one that is needed. It has 1280 x 1024 but not the ones in between.

Anyone know how I can get the resolution thats native?

Would it be as simple as a driver upgrade or are we looking at a new graphics card that supports higher resolution?

Thanks for the help

PLEASE DELETE- PROBLEM MAGICALLY FIXED ITSELF

What motherboard is it? Always best to get the latest drivers from the manufacturers site and install those, not the ones from the CD. It would also be advised to uninstall and clean any previous drivers that may be remnant on your system before installing new ones.

It should be the highest choice in the control panel, now that you installed the software that came with the monitor.

What monitor is it?
