New modem and connection upgrade, slower web page loads?

I'm with Brighthouse Networks in central FL, we upgraded to their "Lightning" service for a 40/5 connection.

They brought out the new modem a; Motorola SB6580. They set it up and all seemed to be working fine until I got home from work tonight and it seems web pages are loading incredibly slow, according to my family that is how its been all day.

I've got the router going into a Cisco Linksys E3000 wireless router, all settings the same as they were with the previous modem and service which had no problems.

Are there any options or settings in the modem to look for that could cause this?

I'm going to research this for a bit longer and if nothing comes up, I'll call support tomorrow. Hopefully someone here has had something similar or can help me out.

Thanks guys.

This could be a DNS problem. Try changing your DNS settings (or the DNS settings that your DHCP server is handign out) to Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and see if it makes a difference.
