I have been reading quite abit on the forums about the various Pros and Cons of a number of PSu's and have come down to the conclusion that good lvls on the 12V rail/rails is one of the main points to look for, (apart from Maker of course).
All in all the Tagan TG480-U01 came up quite well apart from a few hic ups, however now these are unavailable to me (live in New Zealand), but their newer model ending W01 is. The spec on this have changed to 2 rails on the 12 Vlt both at 20 amp, my question is does any one have any experience with this particular Psu Good/Bad or know of any reviews on the W01 as all I can find is on the U01.
The system I am putting together is an NF 4 Sli either duel 6600/6800 a cple of HD etc etc, so 480 seems to be a good power lvl without going extreme.
The common thread I read is you need at least 20 amps on the 12v rails for stability. I cant buy PCP&C down here or Zippy.
So your thoughts would be appreciated on any other Psu's that would fite my need.

Thanks for the link, however it is abit generic for what I was after, I have a reasonable handle on what I need, it is personal experience or user knowledgeI was after.

I think you are going to have a hard time getting user feedback on a U.S. message board on the Tagan TG480-U01, if it returns a whole 12 Yahoo hits. All of them except one being from New Zealand and Australia, and the last one being written in German.

Might want to read some reviews from another manufactuer.

The Tagan, OCZ Mod & PowerStream, Enermax, Seasonic, Antec, and the Fortron Blue Storm psu's are recommended on a daily basis around here. All of these will power your SLI rig just fine.

You may want to read the The All-Encompassing Power Supply (PSU) Thread for additional insight.

OZA PowerStream 420w

OCZ ModStream 450w

Seasonic Super Silencer 460w

Enermax 460w EG465P-VE 24P

Tagan 480w TG-480

Forton Blue Storm 500w

OCZ PowerStream 520w (I own this one)

Antec True 550 EPS12v

Note: Please keep in mind that the units listed above are just a few popular selections, and there are other psu's that will power SLI & non-SLI rigs just fine.

Thanks for the input PPl, in the end I decide to go with the majority view and get a PCP&C 510 SLI, from what I have read they get good reviews, are well made, and do a excellant job.

For the rest of you searching out there, Good Luck and try not to get too confused ;)
