So, im upgrading from a Gigabyte Angelica2 uATX mobo w/an amd fx 6120 processor. Im looking at the lga 1150 socket mobo's because ive found the i5 4670k to meet my gaming needs.

What motherboard would you recommend? Im going to be wired into my router when i game. Ive heard that Gigabyte and Asus have really good mobo's at the moment, but id like to hear from the experts.

Budget: $200

Need to know a little bit more about how you use your rig... how many GPUs? Sound card? Do you/are you going to OC? How many SATA ports do you need. Is it going into an mATX or ATX case...?

Oh sorry.

Specs (so far): evga gtx 560
Coolermaster haf 922 (mid tower)
1tb hdd

Intended use: definitely overclocking i5 4670k (from what I've heard its worth)
Upgrading to gtx 660 sli
Will raid0 1tb hdd's, and just use 1 ssd for os
Sound card would be great with my p11's

Unless you are getting a crazy deal on GTX 660 SLI or already have one, I wouldn't recommend going that route.

I'd recommend either Asrock or Gigabyte z87 for your 4670k.

Give the Maximus Hero a long look. I  mine.
A couple of friends have the MSI board mentioned right above and are happy with theirs. (Both running 4670k at 4.2ghz)

MSI is a good mid stream over clocker, there RMA process is good too. Little FYI for ya, I'd like to ask about your choice of PSU?
