New mobo help needed

As the summary sez I can't decide between abit IP-35 Pro, Asus blitz formula or asus maximus formula. I will OC but not too much. I will use a Q6600 and use a Thermalright ultra 120 extreme cooling. So could someone please give some advice? Thanks for the help 🙂

If you don't RAID or need the extra bells and whistles, then IP35-E would be a better choice ($71 AR @ MWAVE). Both boards share major eletronic circuits. Quite a few have pushed the Q6600 and IP35-E north of 3.6GHz. The quad will draw a lot of current from the output devices. Therefore, you should add a fan to the PWM heat sink to lower the temperature. You'll need to do the same with the IP35 Pro.

cool thanks for responding but why would you reccommend that?
because it will do the job (based on what little info that you provided) for the least cost? 😛

The Blitz I believe is hard to find these days & unless you need the dual x16 PCI-E facility for high end Crossfire then X38 atm shows little benefit over P35.
They should all do the job though.

Why would someone need the Blitz Formula over the abit IP-35 pro. I don't upgrade my system very much especially not the mobo which is why I was thinking of getting the Blitz Formula so that i don't have to upgrade my system too much besides the video card, ram etc. Thanks for the advice though i was just going for the blitz but now I am reconsidering. 😉
