Well my mobo decided to give up the ghost this weekend. I was having cold boot issues a couple times, but now, it won't even boot at all. I tried a different power supply just to be sure, but no dice. So, I need to get a new mobo. I want to keep the cost down fairly low (around $100 CDN if possible) since I will more than likely be doing a full upgrade in the fall. Since I haven't been looking at mobos lately, I'm pretty out of the loop as to what would be a good board to grab.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For Intel chipset, go with any 865pe board. My favorite brands are msi, abit, or albatron. All offer direct rma for returns. Msi doesn't even ask for a copy of the receipt. They just check the serial number. If you can't find an 865pe board within your budget, check for the msi pt880 neo lsr with the via dual channel chipset.
